What Betstamp does well

  • Strong odds comparison across many sportsbooks, with tracking attached to the same workflow.
  • Canadian roots, and solid coverage of Canadian books as a result.
  • A free tier with reasonable analytics.

Where Betstamp falls short

  • Less depth on CLV methodology — the measurement TrueLine is built around.
  • A manual workflow: selecting the bet and entering an amount is extra steps if your goal is just to log a bet quickly after placing it.
  • Covers the basics well, but does not go deep on EV, Sharpe ratio, edge decay or bankroll risk modelling.
The difference that matters

Which close you are measured against.

Most trackers grade bets against “the closing line” without saying whose. That matters more than it sounds: a retail book's close carries more margin and lags the sharp move, so the same bet can score positive at one tracker and negative at another. TrueLine grades against Pinnacle's close specifically, captured every 30 minutes since March 2026.

And when Pinnacle never priced an event, the bet stays ungraded with the reason shown — rather than quietly borrowing a softer book's close and still calling it CLV. You can check the methodology before trusting it: the same archive that grades your bets is published in full.
